The first race of the Babcock series, now 43 years old, the Babcock Shettleston 10K will run over a traffic free course around Glasgow Green. The Green contains historical buildings such as the People's Palace and the Royal Doulton fountain. These will provide an impressive backdrop to the event.

The second race of the Babcock series, now 43 years old, the Dumbarton 10K course starts close to the race headquarters in Dumbarton Academy and is largely traffic free, with the first 7K on cycle paths.
The route is a single lap and well marshalled. Dumbarton has been welcoming runners of all abilities for the past thirty three years.
The final race of the Babcock series, now 43 years old, the Babcock Helensburgh 10K course starts and finishes at Hermitage Academy which provides extensive facilities for car parking, changing, toilets, showers, catering and prize presentations.
The course is fast and largely flat and is a single circuit which takes in much of this delightful Victorian seaside resort. The roads are quiet and well marshalled. The event offers a warm welcome to Olympians, serious club runners and recreational runners alike.
